Dr Shawna Omid is one of the most amazing caring, sweetest kindest all around best dentist I’ve ever ever had.!! She doesn’t just do dentistry. She does implants orthodontist, and Invisalign staff is amazing her assistance are phenomenal! She listens to you she makes you feel comfortable. I am truly glad that I met her over 25 years ago. My son goes there as well and he’s 20. He’s been going there for 18 years.

I’ve been going to Dr. Shawna Omid's clinic for years, and she is hands down one of the most caring and attentive dentists I’ve ever met. She and the other doctors in the office, Dr. Nejad and Dr. Sullivan, always provide excellent care. The front office team, especially Letty, is incredibly accommodating. Letty has always been a huge help when it comes to adjusting appointments and making sure we find a time that works best for my family and our insurance. This clinic truly feels like a family, and it’s contagious in the best way possible! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a warm, professional, and welcoming dental practice.

I’ve been going to Dr. Omid’s office for years. Everyone in the office is so friendly and welcoming and I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment! Such a blessing in these busy times. I moved away recently and tried another dentist closer to my new home, but decided it wasn’t as good and I had to go back to Dr. Omid! Her team is worth the drive :) thank you all!

During these years, the range of care varied greatly from simple cleaning, X-rays, fillings, etc. but one thing remained constant, the amazing service and terrific care.

Great folks here! From Leticia running the office, the friendly hygienists, and Dr. Sullivan— the team makes trips to dentist, dare I say, enjoyable..? Bold claim yes, but I used to live in Torrance and now living in Orange County I will continue to make the drive for trustworthy and knowledgeable personnel. Amazing service and dental work! Originally came in for a wisdom tooth removal, then a teeth whitening before my wedding and now am in the process for Invisalign. Outstanding - best dental office I've been to in my life. I would give more stars in this review if I could. Dr Mona is detailed oriented, thoughtful, and gentle. I was nervous as I had to receive local asthenia for both wisdom teeth extraction and deep cleaning and not only was the operation very carefully (and well) done, the day after Dr Mona called me personally to check up on how I was feeling. The entire staff is very professional and kind plus have great taste in music playlists - if you need a dentist referral this is the place to go.

I couldn’t be happier with my new dentist and the service that Dr. Omid, her daughter, Vic, Martha, everyone in the office have given me in 2 recent visits. Not only is the place “spic and span” clean, they follow the appropriate pandemic guidelines and make me feel safe but also they explained every procedure in detail beforehand. They made everything very comfortable, like the x-rays, the deep cleaning, even the numbing of my gums. And they voiced “what” they were doing so I was “in the know” at all times. I’m so appreciative, and for the very first time, I’m actually looking forward to seeing them next week - for a needed filling. Strongly recommend them! They are better than A+!

Excellent doctor! Very polite, caring, and knowledgeable. She took her time to explain my situation. No complaints there. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because my appointment was at 4:00 but I wasn't called in until 4:45. I wouldn't mind 5-10 minutes of delay, but I don't like to wait longer that 15 minutes. I understand emergencies can come up, etc., but it would be nice if the office would call the patient and tell him/her to come in a little later. Over all, I'd recommend Dr. Omid :)

Doctor Shawna Omid is the perfect dentist I have been searching for. I did a lot of research when choosing my doctor, and although there were many options, I went with Doctor Omid because of her strong referrals, advanced technology, strong education background and conveniently located office space. Her office is located in a medical building near the hospital Little Company of Mary. There is a private parking lot with free parking with validation, so be sure you bring your ticket with you so you can get validated at her front desk. The parking staff seems to be kind and not too strict if you do forget your ticket. Her staff was very kind and welcomed me when I arrived. The space is very nice and looks like it was newly remodeled. There is coffee and magazines in the waiting space. The doctor was very personable and got to know me as she was treating me. Her assistants were also kind. And although cleanings are never exactly fun, I thought the hygienist did a very thorough job. I'm looking forward to continuing my relationship with Dr. Omid as a patient!

Today was my last visit since we are moving out of town. I’m so sad to be leaving the dental team here at Dr. Omid’s office. From the moment I walk in the door to see Vanessa at the front desk to when Darlene and Noushin are helping my teeth stay beautiful and clean, I feel like Ive known y'all much longer than the four years that I've been coming here. ORIGINAL POST - 2013 I have been seeing Dr. Omid for about 2.5 years now. I had not seen a dentist for over 5 years prior to my initial visit and Dr. Omid got me, & my oral hygiene, back on track. I did require gum surgery and it has taken 2 years to get back to near normal. Her staff is always professional and use the latest technologies. They do upsell a lot, but it's up to each individual to know their financial situation. My wife love this dentist. Update 5/24/2018 I am still visiting Dr Omid's office. Her staff continues to do their best to assure my oral health. It's been nearly 8 years now and my health has improved as well. IT's has been 18 month since I last was sick with a cold or flu. Oral health does make a difference. Thank you to all the staff, especially front office staff (Victoria & Vanessa), and hygienist (Nooshin). You are the BEST!

I started my journey with TMJ pain in February 2014. Since then I've seen professionals in: Dentistry, Orthodontics, Neurology, ENT, Maxillofacial, Craniofacial, Musculoskeletal, and chronic pain mgmt., disciplines. Consultations with "TMJ specialists" have averaged $350 and up to receive the same unimaginative, allopathic, toxic, short-term/long-term-all temporary, expensive recommendations. Today was a really bad day, I hadn't slept for 2 nights, the pain was in both ears, my face,my head and it had just spread into the opposite joint for the first time. My lips and tongue were numb so it was hard to speak. My jaw had been dislocating all weekend and I had no idea where my bite was anymore. When I got to her office, my lips were trembling from the over strained face muscles holding my jaw in place. Dr. Omid is an amazing woman and her office is staffed by warm, healing energies (Vanessa/Victoria). I saw her before I could pick a magazine!!!! She was present and willing to align herself with my concerns. She didn't sell herself as a TMJ Specialist but someone who has real world experience with sufferers, and an understanding of the complex causes and symptoms. She's a great communicator. We agreed on Biostimulating Laser Therapy and 10 minutes later I was in tears over the relief. Honestly, the tears started when Vanessa told me the price. I am so blessed to have found a reasonable (not potentially deadly) solution, that I can actually pay for in two paychecks. And she even let me schedule the second payment. Thank you. Not Thousands over years at punitive rates. It's my first treatment and I can't wait to go back, I haven't stopped smiling!!! The pain was reduced immediately, the inflammation started disappearing and I could feel my face and mouth. 10 hours later, the pain is GONE. I haven't been pain free since January. This Laser worked for me and I am so grateful...and hopeful. I am going to sleep great tonight on any part of my head I like. :) If you're suffering with TMJD and searching for a HEALER, Go to Dr. Shawna Omid.
